After 20 years on the market, the time has come for StyleTap Platform to be retired. The immediate reason is that Google has phased out support for 32 bit applications on the Android OS, and device manufacturers are using newer CPUs that no longer support the old 32 bit ABI. Although it is technically possible for us to implement a 64 bit version of StyleTap for Android, the major engineering effort can not be justified by the size of the niche market that StyleTap now serves.
We are proud to have served so many customers around the world over the years, allowing them to squeeze much more value from their trusted Palm apps. We have ported StyleTap to all of the major mobile operating systems, and by now we have outlasted all but a couple of them.
StyleTap for Android will no longer be available for download or purchase after June 30, 2025. Until then, you may request to purchase a license by sending an email to sales@styletap.com.
Support will continue to be provided consistent with the license agreement that applied to the product at the time of purchase. Replacement keys will be available until June 30, 2026. Send us an email to sales@styletap.com if you need one.
